Things to do

The largest "Shinpaku (Chinese Junuiper)" in Japan is at Hoshoin Temple (Shodoshima Pilgrimage Temple No.54). The tree is estimated to be over 1500 years old and has been designated a natural monument in Japan. Shinpaku is known as one of bonsai (a dwarf miniature potted tree), but the Shinpaku at Hoshoin Temple is so huge.
