196 statues of children are standing on the beach nearby Obe port. Statues are made from sand, so they are eroded by wind and waves little by little. The number of 196 indicates countries approved by Japan, and distance from Obe port to each country's capital are written on each statues. You will find anxiety and warning to the future in the eerie artwork.
